Missouri is said to have the country''s worst roads, living in Independence and Kansas City, I find this is true, but Gallatins roads when I come home to visit are really terrible. I have heard other visitors to Gallatin, especially out of staters, say this as well. It may be none of my business to raise taxes since I don''t live here, but I do a lot of shopping when I come home, things I don''t find in Kansas City and do pay sales taxes in Gallatin Stores, I would like to see my home town with nicer streets to accomandate those who travel there, some I know from Kansas City who stop by while in Jamesport and also it would be a better convience for you reisdents to be proud of. Other wise your town is very beautiful with rustic old houses and a friend of mine in Kansas City recently visited and commented on the beautiful rustic courthouse and how well preserved it is. Beautiful streets
would set off the beautiful town square and the
make more attractive the already inviting residential areas.
