Richard Evans to perform vocal recital at Cameron UMC Richard Evans, a senior at Missouri Western State University, will be performing a senior vocal recital at 4 p.m. on May 7 at the Cameron United Methodist Church. Richard, a baritone, will be
accompanied by Nancy Sandy. His program will include selected works by G.F. Handel, Richard
Strauss, Robert Schumann, Blue Mountain Ballads by Paul Bowles and “Traditional Spiritual Songs,”
arranged by Mark Hayes. Kim Evans will also be featured as a guest pianist, performing Intermezzo in
A minor by Brahms. Richard is giving this recital in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a bachelor
of science degree in music education. Everyone is welcome to come and attend this performance and
invite a friend. Following the performance, refreshments will be served downstairs in the fellowship hall for a time of greeting, reflection and celebration. [Submitted Photo]
