North Central Missouri College’s Delta Epsilon Chi chapter returned from the International Career Development Conference held in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday. During the conference, eight NCMC students participated in various competitive events, attended institutes and academies, and networked with several other college students from across the nation.
In addition, a career fair highlighting Delta Epsilon Chi’s corporate sponsors, such as the Kauffman Foundation, Target, Safeway and Finish Line was held giving students opportunities for career development. Students were also able to visit several Dallas attractions including the site of President Kennedy’s assassination and Southfork Ranch where the television show “Dallas” was filmed.
Participants from NCMC pictured were front row: Beth Wiley of Bethany, Bridgette Bell of Pattonsburg, Alisha Baker of Tina, Marsha Stivers of Green City, and Miranda Fisher of Trenton. Back row participants included Charles Fellers of Braymer, Advisor Jay Johnson of Gallatin, and Christine Beagley of Gilman City. Not pictured is Kenneth Clem of Trenton who was attending a workshop at the time of the photo. [Submitted Photo]
