by Sheri L. Howard, Unit Public Affairs Representative Pvt. Jennifer N. Stanford enlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard on March 29. Stanford will attend basic combat training on May 25, in Fort Jackson, S.C. In the summer of 2007 she will attend advanced individual training to receive training for her military occupational specialty as an automated logistical specialist. Stanford’s home unit will be Detachment 2, 1128th Forward Support Company located in Richmond. Stanford is a junior at Gallatin High School and is the daughter of Gary and Clydena Stanford. She will be receiving a $20,000 enlistment bonus, the Montgomery G.I. Bill and 100 percent federal and state tuition assistance in addition to her regular military pay.
