On August 18, Danielle Ness of Gallatin's Knee-Hi 4-H Club demonstrated lathe snowmen. She was one of 400 youth selected to give a demonstration in the 4-H Building at the 2006 Missouri State Fair.

| Brianna Hixson, of Jamesport, won the Junior Showmanship at the 4-H Simmental competition at the
2006 Missouri State Fair in Sedalia. Brianna is the daughter of Greg & Lori Landes. She is a member
of the Brushy Squirrels 4-H club.
